As Euroleague 2008/2009 continues we see how one by one the weaker teams are getting pushed back farther and farther. But the thing that I am mostly interested in is weather Maccabi Tel Aviv will get the Championship this year. They were very close last season, that with loosing one of their best player to a nee injury and getting another good player in the middle of the season, Personal problems of another player, (with the law 
) and changing a manager. This year they started pretty steady with again a new manager, some new stars, one of them is of course NBA player Carlos Arroyo. The great and mighty Kobe Bryant
•September 15, 2008 • Leave a CommentYou got to hand it to the Lakers star Kobe Bryant for his determination to continue on and playing with his bad pinky. One Bryant heard that the recovery period is 3 months; he backed away from going through with the operation. He already proved that he can play well with this injury all through the last NBA season and in Beijing Olympic Games. But when watching NBA live I personally noticed some changes since his injury back in last February.
The Lakers general manager – Mitch Kupchak, said that Bryant will be able to fix his pinky any time he wants. I hope for his sake that this is true and that he is not causing him self permanent damage.
In any case, I just want to say – We love you Kobe and we are glad to have you in on this season.

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Joe Crawford, it was announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released. Selected by the Lakers with the 58th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, Crawford, a 22 year-old native of Detroit, Michigan, played four seasons at the University of Kentucky, averaging 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 127 games (76 starts).
